Invisable Fence Tips and Hints for Driveways and Ground-level objects;
To pass the Invisible fence wire over or under objects like your driveway, you can cut a thin 1/4" groove in the concrete or asphalt, laying the wire in the groove, then sealing it with the appropriate material. Or, you can pass it under objects using small diameter tubing. Plastic (PVC), rubber (garden hose), or metal tubing makes no difference. None of these materials will block, or cancel the invisible fence signal, so any type can be used. For low traffic areas, the rubber tubing (cut a piece of garden hose or similar tubing) will work when buried a few inches in the ground. In high traffic areas, such as dirt roads, dirt pathways nor gravel driveways, hard plastic tubing (PVC, Sprinkler tubing) or metal pipe is preferred to prevent damage to the invisable fence wire.

Using Twisted Wire to Create and Connect Zones for your Invisible Fence
Use the twisted wire (illustrated yellow loops) to connect smaller zoned areas within the larger outside zones, or connecting different zones together. Your dog can safely pass over any twisted wire section. Using twisted wire (which cancels out the signal along the twisted path only), one single invisable fence transmitter will cover all these areas!

The black lines are the invisable fence boundary wire, and the yellow loops represent the twisted wires connecting the transmitter to the wired zones (boundary wire). The twisted wires cancel out the signal, allowing your dog to pass over those areas without correction.
